To start the day off we headed to the pottery of Pepe Cantor, the things that man can do with clay would blow your mind, he also happens to be the proud owner of a cracking beard so he's winning on all fronts in my book.
Once at Pepe's pottery the students got a show and tell on old farming equipment and techniques and also how its possible to do a hard days manual labour and maintain the best facial fuzz this side of the Sierra Nevada's.
If you look carefully through the pictures below the more eagle eyed amongst you may recognize the clay sculpture I crafted of Pepe's epic fizzogg with my own fair hand.
After heading out from The Cantor's gaffe we travelled to the bio park zoo at Fuengirola, where for a modest fee you can watch monkeys molest each other while eating their own poo.
As well as the monkeys the zoo also houses a range of other animals, including a hippo, a white tiger and also some gorillas. The students took a real shine to the Gorillas and I for one enjoyed seeing the friendly faced lumbering apes, which is suprising considering that I usually see them 5 days a week in school.
Once we had left the zoo staff and students headed for the marina once more to ensure that nobody went home with any money.
All in all we had a hectic but fun day and students returned to the hotel with a reinvigorated desire to inflict more terrible karaoke on holidaying Spanish pensioners.
Friday's tales of daring do will have to wait till we return home on saturday, so if you want to know how it all ends keep checking back.
